Welcome to Momiji Nursery.

We are a family owned retail nursery specializing exclusively in the Japanese maple. We grow and graft our own stock and have worked diligently to bring premium quality Japanese maples to our customers since 1979.

We are located in the beautiful Northern California county of Sonoma, a region best known for its distinctive vineyards and nurseries. If you are looking for that special Japanese maple, please visit our nursery and discover over 250 cultivars—all beautiful and vigorous trees covering the range of leaf color and structure. We offer a selection that you are unlikely to find in other nurseries, all grown right here on our nursery grounds. We offer personalized service to our customers and welcome your visit. It’s easy to find us— we’re just 5 minutes from Highway 101.

LARGER SIZED JAPANESE MAPLES AVAILABLE: You will find trees of all sizes here at the nursery, from 1 to 24 gallon. If you are looking for larger sized Japanese maples, come and see our current inventory of 15-gallon, 20-gallon trees and 24-inch boxes. These larger trees are grand and gorgeous, and ready to become an instant focal point in your garden.

HOURS OF OPERATION: We update our hours of operation periodically, so please check before your scheduled trip.

PLAN AHEAD FOR THE TRIP HOME WITH YOUR MAPLE: If you will be transporting your tree home in an open truck bed, please bring a flat sheet and cord or rope per tree so we can wrap them for you for safe transport. A bag of soil is also helpful to prevent the round containers from moving around in the truck bed. (15 and 20 gallon trees are round; 24” are in wooden boxes.)
